All you need to do is download the normal 2.0 download. It's recognizes the
way 1.x was setup and will read from the CD.

I thought when I last viewed the upgrade options there was a 1.x CD
version to 2.0 CD version upgrade path. But there is no such option
listed at the site (when I looked on Sat). Am I imagining that
option? Or is that coming in the future?
Thanks,
Tom

Nope. If you have the 1.x CD version and download
and install 2.0 over the top, it will recognize the 1.x CD
as the key disk.

I think they are considering the possibility of a CD -> CD
upgrade, but Rob's really busy right now and when someone
asked a couple of days ago, he said "ask me again after the 20th"
(or something like that :-)

Russell.

Ok, I know its trivial, but does anyone know why this egroup is in the
category "Games : Play-By-Mail"?

No such option was ever mentioned, since no such option is necessary. :-)
If you have the V1.x CD, then simply download V2.0, install it over your V1
installation, and start using V2. The new version recognizes your old CD
just like the old version did.

Thanks, Rob

Er, this group was NOT in that category before the merger with
"onelist.com", so I can only assume that it got moved accidentally by
eGroups at that time. I never bothered to look after the group was first
created. :-)

I'll put this on the todo list to get corrected, but it won't happen until
after I get home from GenCon....

Thanks, Rob

I've had the same problem. I was just about to actually finally go and buy
the full program, after a forever and a half of debating whether or not it's
worth it. I heard so many great things, so I decided to take the plunge,
and then the site is down! Damn my luck!

I can't believe nobody else picked up on this. Wolf Guard battle
leaders take their wargear with Wolf Guard prices. It's in some WD or
something as one of the advantages of taking a WGBL. Besides that,
the rulesboyz said that was the case too, and nobody's contradicted
them on that. It's always been the way I used my list on pen and
paper, and I figure AB should do that better.

P.S. Does anyone know how much the Citadel Journal costs in Canada?

AAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! no they *DON'T*!!!! The WD article in
contention talks about the WG getting access to the cheaper weapons,
not the WGBL's. The WGBL's are an HQ choice, they pay HQ prices...

Will you upgrade them soon?
I have found some errors in it.

One fine day in the middle of the night, vaul@altavista.com got up to

Some people did, but I made rude comments about them and they went away.

White Dwarf sometimes get things wrong. The Roolzboyz often get things
wrong. If you can find evidence in the Space Wolf codex to support
that Wolf Guard Battle Leaders get cheap wargear please present it, but
otherwise I don't think it was the intention of the game designers to
give multi-wound, multi-attack characters 5 point Terminator Armour.
