It's recognizes the way 1.x was setup and will read from the CD. If you have the 1.x CD version and download and install 2.0 over the top, it will recognize the 1.x CD as the key disk. I think they are considering the possibility of a CD -> CD upgrade, but Rob's really busy right now and when someone asked a couple of days ago, he said "ask me again after the 20th" (or something like that :-) Russell. -----Original Message----- From: Tom [mailto:tnnlynch@hotmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, 8 August 2000 10:41 AM To: ab@support.wolflair.com Subject: [AB] AB 2 Upgrade Path Question I thought when I last viewed the upgrade options there was a 1.x CD version to 2.0 CD version upgrade path. The new version recognizes your old CD just like the old version did. I was refering to the cd -> cd deal. I must have missed Rob's earlier posting. Er, this group was NOT in that category before the merger with "onelist.com", so I can only assume that it got moved accidentally by eGroups at that time. I never bothered to look after the group was first created. :-) I'll put this on the todo list to get corrected, but it won't happen until after I get home from GenCon.... I can't believe nobody else picked up on this. Wolf Guard battle leaders take their wargear with Wolf Guard prices. It's in some WD or something as one of the advantages of taking a WGBL. Besides that, the rulesboyz said that was the case too, and nobody's contradicted them on that. It's always been the way I used my list on pen and paper, and I figure AB should do that better. P.S. Does anyone know how much the Citadel Journal costs in Canada? __________________________________________________ ______________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ Message: 11 Date: Mon, 07 Aug 2000 22:09:23 -0700 From: trent <felix@medford.net> Subject: Re: Error in the Space Wolf files again... The WD article in contention talks about the WG getting access to the cheaper weapons, not the WGBL's. The WGBL's are an HQ choice, they pay HQ prices... trent __________________________________________________ ______________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ Message: 12 Date: Tue, 08 Aug 2000 05:35:51 -0000 From: bjorn.nilsson@farmen.se Subject: Re: Warmasterquestion > I do them. :P > > John Connell completed a working file for them before I did so there > are actually two versions floating around. If you can find evidence in the Space Wolf codex to support that Wolf Guard Battle Leaders get cheap wargear please present it, but otherwise I don't think it was the intention of the game designers to give multi-wound, multi-attack characters 5 point Terminator Armour. -- 'Not Colin' McAlister - License to Skrill Email: demandred@skrill.org | Visit http://www.skrill.org/ today! -----------------------------+------------------------------------ "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain" - Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time __________________________________________________ ______________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ |
