Evening all,
I've been using HeroLab very happily for a few weeks now for Pathfinder, but I can't seem to get flaws to work; whenever I try to add one, it comes up with a "nothing to choose from" error. I've set the 'use traits and flaws' option, and have no problem choosing traits. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful. I'm running HeroLab on Linux using Wine. Best, Landon. |

Flaws are in fact a remnant of 3.5 (I guess it has been kept around because a significant number of users were using them, or using the mechanic to customize their characters in some way), and they do not officially "exist" in Pathfinder.
On the Pathfinder OGC HL page ( http://www.d20pfsrd.com/extras/commu...tions/hero-lab ), I think there is a user file with a bunch of flaws. Download and install, set your Character Configuration to allow for those, and you should be good to go! |

The flaws that are already in Hero Lab are in the "Open Content from Unearthed Arcana" option in the "Prior SRD Content" grouping.

Looked for a file with additional flaws, but my luck roll was terrible!
Could I get a little more info please? Thank you in advance. |

My bad... I confused Flaws with Skill Tricks, I indeed can't find a Flaws file in my stuff (other than a couple I did myself). So what's available are the SRD ones included with the Core system (make sure the appropriate options are ticked in Character Configuration). Sorry for that!
As for skill tricks (in case you are interested) http://www.d20pfsrd.com/extras/commu...tions/hero-lab under Richard's Lab or http://www.cheeseweasel.net/herolab/pathfinder.shtml (I don't think those are the same) |

You have to check the box enable traits and flaws in the configure hero part. Hope that helps.
