I understand that the bug regarding the summoner's spells has already been reported, but my question is, is there any way for us users to go in and correct the problem ourselves? While no programmer, I'm not to bad at the data entry/correction aspect, did it all the time in the Microsoft Access database behind Etools.

Well, I havn't played with it much, but you can click Tools on the menu bar and select 'Launch Editor'. I don't know whether you can edit already made classes from there, but I know you can create new ones. Click on Help to get the manual...

I tried that, and was unable to locate files for the pre-existing classes.

In the editor, create a new file, go to the class tab, and make a copy of the existing class.
Unfortunately, this won't work for the summoner or anything else from the APG playtest - they're part of an extra package, which means they can't be copied. |
