I've been using Hero Lab a long time and never needed to create monsters in HL. I knew it was possible to and I own the first three bestiary's, but never needed to do it.

I'm trying to make a construct and can't figure out how. The option for construct doesn't show up on my list of templates. I've gone in and removed all sources and started at the beginning, but I can't figure it out. I can see Zombie and several other templates, but not construct.

Longer version: GMing "The Emerald Spire", several PC's perished and I want to bring them back in converted to Emerald Spire Automatons. So I'm building the PC and trying to start with construct. Or add construct later. (Yes, I know HL will complain about adding templates AFTER a NPC/PC has levels).

Any thought's on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Kizan

I guess I found it. It's under races. I suppose my question now changes to. How can I take a PC and ADD the construct-type stuff. Hmmm.

Make a template which switches their type to construct.
