I did some more screenshots in the same thread, this time from the tactical console and encounter builder. And thanks for the praise ;-)

Very cool dude, thank you for all the hard work and time you put into this. Hopefully WOTC will approve the license. We have been holding off 5E until there is digital support. I know everyone has various strong opinions about that issue, but it's what works for our group. Anyways, thank you again!

That site seems to be a big place - do you have any hints as to where I can see the screenshots?

BTW, with what you've described, I'm very excited, and I hope that you (and LW) are allowed to release it soon!

Thanks for posting the screenshot link btw

I really hope so, over at the wizards forum, the usual suck ups are now stating that they don't need digital tools, and whereas I agree that digital tools are not needed. Being a very busy person who GM's 1 weekly session and 1 fortnightly session they are massively useful.

Lets hope Wizards come to their senses and offer something towards HL and RW

Personally no matter HOW simple the system is I prefer having digital tools of SOME type because my hand writing sucks, and to protect against the random beer/drink spill that ruins a character sheet. If it's digital I can have a backup, play from my phone, and if necessary send my DM a copy of it if I can't make the game.

I have to admit I'd gotten pretty spoiled by HeroLab while playing Pathfinder.

Not just creating the character, but being able to search for words in the description of feats is a huge benefit. "Which feats deal with sneak attack," you ask? No problem, bring up the feat list, and type sneak attack in the box. Instantly, there's your answer... from a list of nearly 1000 feats from dozens of source books. Spells too.

But aside from that "modern" functionality, I've always liked having a neatly printed character sheet that I could reproduce quickly in case of spill, pet attack, or other emergency. Even back to the days of listening to the high-pitched buzz of my 9-pin dox-matrix printer attached to my Apple ][e.

Having to go back to a hand-written character sheet when 5th Edition came out was quite the trip down nostalgia avenue, and it surprised me that creating a character by hand for even a system so simple as 5e still took almost an hour of reading, writing, cross-referencing, erasing, re-writing, etc.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have my hands on MagicSN's work!

Especially because of Realm Works.

C'Mon, WotC, don't force us to use YOUR pencils and paper to write our sheets! If your solution is worthwhile, people will use it - but let others have a go also.
