First of all to LoneWolf guys:
I can set up some forums for you guys on your site that are free, and much better than these. I won't even charge you. All you need is a server with database capability(SQL or Access) and I need to know which language, ASP or PHP. To other card file developers: I am almost done with a Harry Potter fileset. I only have to finish stat and rule files and test it for a couple of days, then I'll let the Lonewolf guys have it. I have a really good full list of Star Wars cards also that include Sith Rising. Should I try to make it exactly like what has already been submitted just with added cards? Should I make a new fileset completely, ignoring the old .def and .stat files? Should I send what I have to the current author? Thanks, Mike ------------------------ Yahoo! At the moment, we're spread extremely thin, so introducing new forums and related mechanisms is something that would need to be planned for the future. I'm interested in what you have in mind, so please point me to an example of the forum you envision. Please continue this thread via private email at rob@wolflair.com. >To other card file developers: >I am almost done with a Harry Potter fileset. Please let us know when you've got things ready and I'll setup and author account for you. >I have a really good full list of Star Wars cards also that include >Sith Rising. Should I send >what I have to the current author? If you would like to take over ownership of the Star Wars data files, I think it's safe that Colen (the current author) would welcome that option. However, I also recommend that you take a look at the format used by Colen, since it seems to be pretty solid and you might find it easiest to just generate the new data file for Sith Rising, leaving the rest intact. That's ultimately your option, though.. If you choose to take over the Star Wars files, please contact Colen to coordinate the transition with him. I'll be happy to transfer authorship over to you so you can manage releases of the data files if you and Colen request it.
