M&M 3rd ed. is there any way to turn off the "hover" text

Its incredibly annoying when changing a users stats with the arrows if every time i try to click on an arrow the hover text completely blocks the arrow.
 
Bummer. Its really frustrating to use on the abilities tab for the arrows. On the mac it basically makes the arrows almost worthless.
