Also, at least for the ring of spell storing, I don't think that is how it functions in the rules. If I am reading this right, it doesn't add the spell to your list of spells known, it contains a spell that anyone can cast, and can be refilled once expended by casting any spell into it (the same or any other).

Not to mention, spending a large amount of effort to satisfy the .001% of users that would actually get this magic item. A lot of wasted time and effort that could be better spent on things that more people would use.
