M&M 2nd ed. Copy and Paste

How do you copy a power, with options, to another character in M&M2.

For example a magic sword.

Unfortunately, you can't. You can build it in Hero Lab and then everyone can add it. But to copy it between heroes (or to different places in the same hero), you have to copy it by hand due to how the program is organized.

Thanks for the reply. This seems to me to be a pretty major flaw in the most deluxe character generation program available.

Eyeh, they built the program to model every system, which unfortunately means that allowing the copy-and-paste in this situation didn't work as well. Once you start delving into the Authoring Kit, you start to see what they were dealing with.
