Dakadin is on to something.

Here's a suggestion:

Create topics for each portfolio item (topic for weather, topic for gravity, topic for water, etc, etc, etc). Reference the relevant god in a snippet.
Create a topic called "Portfolios", to use as a container for the individual portfolio topics.
Create topics for each god (as entities), reference their portfolio in snippets.

Now all you need to do is go to the Portfolios topic, pick the relevant portfolio item you're searching for in the link pane, and it will point you straight at the god.

Each country gets a section on primary deities. The cleric mechanics section get's a link to the pantheon sorted by alignment. The deity entries reference holy days which populate the calendar.

And we're just getting started on the interlinkages....

You could do a Pantheon topic with a different section for each god.

Custom Section "Niagra"
Snippet: Niagra is the Goddess of water.
Snippet: Without Niagra, there is no water anywhere.
Snippet: Niagra is responsible for how and which direction rivers flow (rivers can literally flow in both directions at once, up hills, etc) depending on her will."

Then there is only one page to go to look for what the god is in charge of, but you could still link to the gods' official topics.
