I know that you can nest things and I have been doing that but have now reached an area where I want to nest a topic but I am not sure what to use for the parent topic:

Currently I have multiple families and I want to be able to group them so i can can close them as it is a large group. So do I make a family as the outer containing topic even though it isnt as it would be a holder for multiple families. Or do I make it "other" or?

so I have "

TOP LEVEL CONTAINER( THE ONE NEEDING THE NAME)
FAMILY 1
FAMILY 2
FAMILY N+
...

I need to do this in multiple areas and wondered how and others would approach this. It seems we just need a descriptive storage topic that is generic.

Let me know thx

So, this is kind of obvious, but "Families"? Unless there's more context to this, that's what I'd do. From how I'm reading your post, you just want a collapsible group with a descriptive name.

There is no group "families" and the category family is for a single instance. I wasn't sure how this would impact things further down the line hence the question. I did my government like that and it worked ok but the snippets for family were for a singular instance of family and it didnt fit as well.

Hope this makes sense

Is this how you're wanting to do it?

Code:
Top Level Container
           Family1
           Family2
           Family3

And you want advice on what type of Category/Topic to make "Top Level Container"? Or, what kind of Sections and Snippets to have on it?

I create new categories for this purpose if nothing seems to fit. You can always rearrange them later if need be.

You could always make a new "Family" at the top and call it the "X Clan" or something like that.

There is a group for families. Have you downloaded the new version and logged in to sync?
