I am working on a race ability for the extraterrestrial template from the MSRD, that gives Psionics. I was looking around in the new Occult stuff and I saw "Psychic Magic". Looks like that might be a good fit. But I really don't know much about the new "Psychic" rules. I understand the script on the ability.

if they're replacing psi-like abilities, I think it's in general take the number of times per day it can be used times the spell level. So a 3rd level spell once per day would get 3 points. Look at the Occult Bestiary for ideas

The ability is:
"Psionics (Sp): The extraterrestrial gains the use of one psionic power of 2nd level or lower. It can use this power three times per day." But I was thinking the new Occult stuff might have something similar. I'll check out the Occult Bestiary for ideas. Thanks! |

The Psychic Magic UMA came from OB so there's lots in there using it to give you ideas.
