One fine day in the middle of the night, marc
<marc@marc.homechoice.co.uk> got up to write: >The ones coming out in the Next White Dwarf=) As advertised on the back of >the current issue Yes, they will definitely included. I'll just activate my Time-Drive 5000, leap forward in time so I can see what they actually are, swiftly write the AB files for them, then return to this time and release them. If they're anything like the version I saw a few months ago, probably not - they're too complex... but we shall see. -- 'Not Colin' McAlister - License to Skrill Email: demandred@skrill.org | Visit http://www.skrill.org/ today! -----------------------------+------------------------------------ "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain" - Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time -------------------------- eGroups Sponsor -------------------------~-~> eGroups eLerts It's Easy. If we are talking about the same version as I saw, then your right, those
are far too complex, but I think that Jervis is likely to have simplyfied it a lot, otherwise it will be a waste of space in the magazine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "'Not Colin' McAlister & The Skrills" <demandred@skrill.org> To: ab@support.wolflair.com Sent: Sunday, November 19, 2000 7:35 PM Subject: Re: [AB] Custom Vehicles? > One fine day in the middle of the night, marc > <marc@marc.homechoice.co.uk> got up to write: > > >The ones coming out in the Next White Dwarf=) As advertised on the back of > >the current issue > > Yes, they will definitely included. LOL I have actually already gotten my issue with
these rules, they rock, and I hope you will be adding them once you have them available. --- 'Not Colin' McAlister & The Skrills <demandred@skrill.org> wrote: > One fine day in the middle of the night, marc > <marc@marc.homechoice.co.uk> got up to write: > > >The ones coming out in the Next White Dwarf=) As > advertised on the back of > >the current issue > > Yes, they will definitely included. Good call--and the main interest of the munchkins using them will be to create monstrosities that are illegal, that a properly done set of AB data for them wouldn't be useful to them anyway. -------------------------- eGroups Sponsor -------------------------~-~> eGroups eLerts It's Easy. I'm sure that the GW team have forseen that possibility, and it will be
difficult to make too much of a monstroity, something like for every plus one point of armour you add, you reduse your movement by 1 inch, , or if you carry more theh X amount of guns on your vehivcle, you can still only fire 3 per turn, or move and fire one, the simple way around it is just not to play anyone that gets stupid with them. For example I'm going to use them to construct a bridge Laywer for my Wolves, but it's gonna be a scenerio piece, and all it's gonna have is a turret mounted storm bolter, it's not a war machine, but burble, burblr, burble, burble, o.k, thats it, I've lost the plot, If I catch it again, I'll let you know.
