Necromancer issue

Ok my question is that Wizard: Necromancer ability: Power over Undead: speaks of the wizard getting channel energy to use over undead. Since it is listed as channel energy some of the channel energy feats are select-able, but one feat in particular that won't is Quick Channel. Is this suppose to happen or is there a missing check-validation happening?

Looks to me like the latter; I'd report it as a bug.
