Perhaps I am missing something, but is there no way to output a GM/DM style stat block? By that I mean a condenced stat block that can be easily cut and pasted into text documents (say an created adventure document)?
While I am specifically using Hero Lab for Pathfinder I would think that this style of condenced stat block is applicable for a range of RPG games. |

Statblock output is built into Hero Lab for all game systems. The format differs for each game, as we strive to emulate the official format used by each publisher.
To generate statblock output, go to the File menu and select "Output Active Hero Summary". You can then choose whether to use plain text (no formatting), HTML (for website posting), BBCode (for forum posting), or Wikitext (for wiki posting). The output can be copied to the clipboard or saved to a file. |

So in the Demo I am not able to see the output, I am curious is there a screen shot of the various stat block outputs available? (Pathfinder in this case)
I am also curious if hero lab will produce a character sheet more in line with the published char sheet in the future? (also Pathfinder) |

One of our users put together a whole bunch of statblocks on the Paizo message boards. You'll find a bunch of them in the thread below. Look for posts from Joey Virtue.
http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards...ilMeNow&page=1 Another user posted a few statblocks on his blog. Links are below. http://awizardindallas.blogspot.com/...ranger-cr.html http://awizardindallas.blogspot.com/...-minotaur.html http://awizardindallas.blogspot.com/...-sorcerer.html The only character sheet currently output by Hero Lab is the one you can see in the demo. You can toggle the inclusion of some items on and off, but that's it. A major priority for us in the next big feature update is to fully support custom output. So that's still on the todo list, but not far off. |
