Once you download the pdf program's installer, close Hero Lab, then run the installer for the pdf program, and then re-start Hero Lab. The installer can't run while the program it's trying to update is still running.

Just to ask for my own sanity: is there an etiquette for responding to multiple identical posts from a user?
I ask because I responded in the other (more recent) thread less than an hour after the question was raised, and this seems to happen to me a lot on various forums across the web: I respond, and then the other thread is the one that gets more/official responses. Just asking if there's a "rule" I don't know about. |

Fair enough.
The other option being that it's an anti-calendar conspiracy, and you're all out to get me... No, wait, this is HL, not RW... |

I had that issue too, and the solution was downloading it from the webpage without running Hero Lab.
Attempting to download, and then closing Hero Lab, and retrying... would have been a quicker and easier method, had I been aware of it. Now I know, for next time. |
