I've looked everywhere I can think of, but I can't seem to find where starting wealth is specified for classes in the editor. Can someone point me in the right direction?

There is no place that states the starting wealth per class. You will need to look that up in the book.
Class Amount (average) Barbarian 4d4 × 10 (100 gp) Bard 4d4 × 10 (100 gp) Cleric 5d4 × 10 (125 gp) Druid 2d4 × 10 (50 gp) Fighter 6d4 × 10 (150 gp) Monk 5d4 (12 gp, 5 sp) Paladin 6d4 × 10 (150 gp) Ranger 6d4 × 10 (150 gp) Rogue 5d4 × 10 (125 gp) Sorcerer 3d4 × 10 (75 gp) Wizard 3d4 × 10 (75 gp) Source: PH pg111 |

Thanks for going to all the trouble to type that out! What I'm trying to accomplish is to specify the starting gold for a class I created in the editor. Clearly, this is specified *somewhere*, because each class gets starting gold when you use the character generator; I just can't figure out where.

D20 Hero Lab doesn't do starting wealth. It was never programmed. You'll have to do things the old fashioned way (or you can use the HL dice roller) then enter your starting coin in the journal.
If you need a reminder for what to roll for a specific class you are making, I'd recommend putting it in the class description. |
