AB 3.1 LoTR problems

I am a new Army Builder user. I just purchased AB3.1. For LoTR forces:

All forces do not have ability to have spears and shields. All
archers have 0 fight value (another bug). Seems unlikely to be
data file problem since existing ab3.0 user does not have these
problems.

I just took a look, and I can't see any difference between the v3.0b
and v3.1 behaviours in the units I checked. Can you give me an
example of a specific unit that's wrong, and if possible a unit
that's correct in v3.0b but incorrect in v3.1? (The Fight values for
all archers being 0 does appear to be an issue, but it's the same in v3.0b.)

Easterlings are a good example. When you choose shield, spear gets greyed out and is unselectable. When you choose spear, shield gets greyed out and is unselectable. 3.0 you can select both shield and spear.

I'll have to take back what I said about ab3.0 being ok. My friend has an older version.
