How do I allow a character to use psionics without being a Mindwalker? The only way I can find to do this is to use the character advancement but that means that 1st level characters can't be Talents.

This was on my to do list. As you have asked about it, it's going up to the top. I will let you know more as I figured it out!
Thanks! edg |

Thanks! Once I get the Arms and Equipment Guide entered, I plan on doing Starships (that one should be quick) then I was going to look at Mindwalking. I want to do the various species I've seen but I'm not sure how yet. I haven't looked at what you've done to see how to do it. I'm sure it's pretty easy. Alternity species seem easier to deal with than many other game systems.

In how I set up Alternity, a species is a collection of abilities. So you define the abilities that a species/race should have and then create a race, bootstrapping the abilities onto it.
Thanks again for the help with the data. edg |

It's no problem. I should have picked a smaller book to start with. I've added races with Pathfinder and I assume it's very similar.
