I have a new player coming to my table, and I've convinced him to purchase HLC. Has to be Classic since we still play PF1.

What does he need to purchase?

Wasn't there some player pack that would allow him to create is his character (Cleric of Cayden Cailean)? Which books does this include? Is this extra purchase?

Thanks.

Duggan is correct; the Pathfinder forum is the place to ask.

That said, as I understand it, the "Class Entry" path is quite limited. It is suitable for new players to "test the water", but if the GM is using many books, the player may eventually need to purchase the "Rule Book" path (more books and packages), or the GM (or the player) would need to implement these things in the editor for the player to use.
