Just checking in. By my calculations the only things left to be done are the dragon and Mystic. Any word on those?

I just shot TCArKnight a build that includes the dragon and mystic. But there are some coding related things that are beyond my abilities (like strain and magic). Of course these an creative interpretations without the ability to use dual arcane backgrounds.

The "source" folder is for source data files for the system and is a reference only. That directory isn't actually read by the program.
Hey - thanks for this, a lot! I'm at work at the moment and so don't have a machine with Hero Lab on it to try this, but will as soon as I am able. If I run into trouble, I'll post back - it's great to get a reply on this, thank you.

Hello:

Ok, so I tried putting the Savage Rifts files into the Savage Worlds folder under the Game System folder. When I try to start Hero Lab it says that the data files could not be loaded due to errors.

The following errors occurred:
Thing 'edgSRUpgra' - Thing requires thing 'racSFConst' that does not exist
Thing 'edgSRUupgra' - Thing requires thing 'hinSFCybRe' that does not exist

Hero Lab manages to load on it's second attempt, but I cannot find any Rifts information anywhere in either the setting options or the character information. I tried putting the whole master folder in the savage system folder, but that doesn't do anything.

Sorry, apparently I'm just not getting this...

Thanks,

John

You need to make sure you select the Sci-Fi Companion on the character's source selection screen. Rifts needs that to run. (The SF part in the 'racSFConst' is the big clue there, as all official sources use a 2-letter designation in the names of things to denote where they come from, much like the first part of the error "edgSRUpgra" where the SR denotes it comes from Savage Rifts.)

Data files authored (please let me know if you see any issues with any of these if you have/use them):
Official (In the downloader)
50 Fathoms, Deadlands: Hell On Earth, Deadlands: Noir, East Texas University, Necessary Evil (requires Super Powers Companion), Pirates of the Spanish Main, Space 1889 (original file by Erich), Tour of Darkness, Weird War II, Weird Wars: Rome
Coming Eventually
Evernight (LWD has completed their review but I have some fixes to make first... although Pinnacle mentioned this might get an overhaul to SWADE so I may just wait for that first. If you just HAVE to have this now, though, just PM me)

Is the data file able to be used by the common people yet? I use Hero Lab exclusively for character sheets and I am about to start a Savage Rifts game. I'm just curious and excited for this.

You can download and use it. Had a few bugs last time I tried it but it was rather exciting to see it. Not sure if there have been any code updates since I last looked but I really appreciate all the hard work put into this.

I’m going through this weekend to see what is outstanding, etc.

@unclejayrazz: you should be able to use it currently. If you run into any issues, etc., just let me know either here in the thread or by pm.

@DarkFlite: Can you PM me or post here the bugs you encountered? I want to be sure I’ve got them all taken care of for any upcoming release.

Thanks!
TC

@TCArknight Where can I download it from? The github repository? I did try that previously but it looks like the Dragon and mystic are not available as Iconic Frameworks. Also, the PDF output seems to be compressed.

I just downloaded the latest from Github. I see Dragon and Mystic as IF choices.
