This should not make a difference for the registration. It sounds like we have something to investigate with this, then. During the restore, it is supposed to save off your machine ID and restore it so then it doesn't need to contact the server again.

Yes and Yes to me as well. I installed RW on my laptop computer on Tuesday (v129) afternoon, and was able to log in and get it registered, etc. On Tuesday evening, I back-upped my Golarion database from my desktop, which was running v129 as well. Brought it over on USB drive, opened it on my laptop, and began work. Continued work for three days on it (Wed, Thurs, and Fri). Shut down Friday night. Attempted to open it on Saturday morning on my laptop (so that I could back it up and move it to my desktop again), when I received the same message as everyone else.
About 12 noon today (I think), I was able to log in on my laptop. Not sure what the problem was, but it's fixed on my end now. |

Has anyone seem problems lately when doing a restore when connectivity is not available to the server? I have been doing testing and it looks to be working for me, but I would like to hear from others.
