This thread kills me.

"I want to do pretty much exactly what this program was designed for"

"Well, the designers haven't given us anything useful, so fans have cobbled together things that might help. Use these third party tools to get the data in. Oh, and by the way, once you get the data you want in, the program can't really handle it, so it will be slow and unwieldy."

My apologies. Seriously, no offense meant. You've put a TONNE of work into this.

But having to retro-build an app that should be native, based on no API or specs, just observing what happens when you do various things, that's really not an optimal build process.

That's what I meant: you're forced to make do with what you have to get the job done.

All hail the fan-based tool developers!

@maxsupernova:
The tool gets the job done for me. Importing 10K of topics might be on my list to one day and maybe RW cannot handle it - i dont know - but so far the tool gets the job done (with some annoyances though). But when you are summing it up, it sounds like it's barely working at all which is not true (imho).

LWD should buy farlings tool and add it assimilate it into their RW world
And just to be save the 3rd party option tool should still be available - just in case they decide to go for a content market part 2.
