Rob,
I am watching the video prepare you content for market and had a question based on your discussion of relationships. With the player edition is it possible for players to define the attitude and relationship with the npcs. So when they are looking for npc x the can pull up a relationship diagram of every npc they have interacted with? Salcor |

At the present time, players are only able edit their own notes. One of the things on the todo list is to allow the GM to assign ownership of specific content elements (e.g. topics) to specific players. For example, the GM could create a topic for each PC and assign ownership of that topic to the respective player. At that point, the PC topic could be edited by the player, including the creation of relationships from that PC to NPCs.
This is something you'll see on the upcoming survey to help us prioritize getting it implemented. |

This would be great for something like a LARP group.
You could assign ownership/reveal type tags to a topic, so anything under say, Clan Gangrel would be viewable by the Gangrel players, but not the Ventrue. Or more broadly, a reveal mask for Anarchs, and only Anarch aligned characters could see this info. I know that might cross over into the dreaded AD groups style access, but it would be killer to have that ability. |

Check also if the GM wants to allow if the player is allowed to create "contained" topics grouped below the topic allowed initially.

A GM could readily use Quick Create to create everything the player needs to muck with. Once we bulk operations into place, it would then be an efficient operation to assign ownership of the top-level element and all of its children to the player. So this is likely to be the initial workflow, and we can circle back down the line to deal with letting the user actually create content. |

One thing we have largely in place is the ability for GMs and players to message each other freely. Once that's in place fully, players will be able to make requests of the GM easily. And a Quick Create operation by the GM, followed by an ownership assignment, should get things sorted out quickly for the player. |

1> Those requests will come via the "mail" section of the startup screen I presume? 2> Will there be a means to "auto respond" that those features are accepted, or declined as the DM adds or will the DM (aka Owner) have to respond via mail( or another means) to just let player know requests were added or declined? To Clarify on the "add" Player A requests the Realm owner adds two articles. After review (I assume via the Quick Create and assigning steps mentioned above), the DM decides to add one of the two. Will there be a response in the "sync" for the log on of the Player that the request # blah was added? |
