Since I haven't seen this on the forums yet, on my company issued MacBook Pro I can't seem to get HL to launch unless I log in to an admin account. When I try to launch under my normal login I get the following error:
Error on line#0 in /Applications/Hero Lab.app/Contents/LWD/Product/hl.xml - Error reading file: /Applications/Hero Lab.app/Contents/LWD/Products/hl.xml This error window won't dismiss and I have to force quit it. Under the admin account it seems to launch fine, and that's how I've been using it; but it makes things inconvenient. |

This is also the same thing on the PC. You need to be in admin mode to run the software. Not sure if this has been created to do the same on the Mac but it seems to work that way on mine as well.

Stephen, did you install the app under an admin account? Or under a normal user account?

chiefweasel, FYI - Hero Lab no longer needs to be run in administrator mode to be used. In fact, we specifically recommend users *not* do this, as it can cause weird problems when some files get created with administrator privileges and some don't.
