Greetings,

I am wondering if there is a way to clear the list of recently saved/opened files/portfolios at the bottom of the File Menu in Hero Lab...

I have recently created a lot of one time use heroes and then deleted them, so I am wondering how I can clean up the list...

Is there a .ini file or registry entry that contains those details?

Kind Regards
Daniel

A small bump... still wondering if there is a way to deal with the above?

In principle my Hero Lab is sometimes used during game session by players and I certainly do not want to give away names of NPCs or other creations when a someone else clicks on File Menu and sees the list of all my recent work (and its location)...

The list of Most Recently Used files is stored in your Hero Lab preferences file in Hero Lab's data folder. In Windows Vista and higher this is likely:

Code:
C:\ProgramData\Hero Lab\herolab.prefs
(Note that ProgramData is a hidden folder.)

With Hero Lab closed, open that file with a text editor and delete the lines that start with:

Code:
<preference name="MRU List
Hope this helps.
