After I updated to all the recent updates including the Community Bestiary, Pathfinder RPG update (latest one). I am getting the following error (oh I have ALL the add-ons for Pathfinder Hero Lab) currently and checked:

(Following is the text from the error)
The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

Ummm based on the error messages I would say you don't have them actually. Or you disabled them? By disable I am not talking about going into Configure Your Hero. You didn't by chance go to "Develop->Skip this game's Supplement Packages" did you?

Cause that would load you in a way where you would not have those other Packages and the CB would through errors...

If not my other advice would be make sure you didn't load the Player Pack and Community Bestiary. If you didn't then my last idea would be to try downloading the Community Bestiary again, let it over write its previous download, and install again. See if that helps.

All the above things did not occur Shadow. But the re-updating the Community Bestiary DID work. I wish I had thought of it. I probably would have if I did not have a license issue as well that just got fixed too hehe

Thanks!

No problem. Glad its working. Yea I think their is a bug in the installer cause about 1 in 500 installs seems to "corrupt" some files. I have never been able to re-create the issue on a machine where I could send logs to LW. But usually after I put out on update I have one person sometimes two that has a very strange error.

In all cases a download again and install fixes the issue. Just can't seem to find any "common" reason.....

I just reinstalled HL due to a major OS crash. HL 5.3 Pathfinder 10.1

2 constant errors that seem to point back to this.

1: The Spell - spUnhoSwo4 does not exist in the files no matter how many times I try and install. This is in PFRPG_Book_of_Fiends_frumple.user

2: cWitPreHai not sure what it is other than some sort of race special cannot be found.
file PFRPG_Classes_for_Monsters.user

If I eliminate the Unholy Sword spell from the eval that one passes. Not sure yet exactly how to eliminate whatever cWitPreHai - Prehensile Hair? is looking for.

Do you have the latest Community Bestiary loaded? My guess you never re-added the Community Servers after the crash and you are way behind the times.

For added sources I have

http://www.shadowsoftware.net/herola...rd/updates.xml
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/...l6MPqu8oYJozig

Otherwise I just updated the other stuff when those two showed them.

Maybe if I know where the actual items should be? What files updates?

Ummm what? These are packages that contain dozens of files. If you want the Community Bestiary to work which I assume. The listed files are from the Community Bestiary so I would re-download the latest version and let it install again. See if that clears up any issues.

My guess is that you have missing files (from the crash??) that is why your getting these error messages. A fresh download and install I am hoping fixes everything up for you.
