Hello!
The next release of Card Vault will have the card image shown side by side with the card text in the 'View Card Details' window, if images are available; if no images are available, just the card text will be shown. There will no longer be a mechanism to toggle between 'just show image' and 'just show text', as there currently is. Now, this wouldn't be a problem, except that the criteria Card Vault will use to decide if card images are present or not is the use of the 'root image URL' field in the definition. If you specify a root image URL and no images, the 'side by side' view will be shown, even though there will never be any images to show in it! Similarly, if you specify no image root url and some card images, users will never see the card images, even though they are there. In summary: If you have no card images, make sure the 'root image url' field (the "urlroot" attribute of the "structure" tag) in the definition is blank. If you have card images, make sure it is not blank (even if it's just "http" or even "h"). Otherwise, your data files will start giving errors when you compile them strictly. Please make sure your data files comply with this exciting new rule before we update card vault, or risk confusing us, yourself and your users.
