Howdy guys,
Man, this is a really powerful tool. I'm a 1st time GM (25+ year player) and am blown away by this system. I'm using it for a KOTOR Saga (SW d20) and loving it. My game is still in development mind you. I kinda hate moving things from the World Almanac to the Story Almanac. I don't like them being missing from the World Almanac. Could we not have a generated Story Almanac that would leave your World Almanac intact? Let's say a tick box that would say "make active in Story Almanac" or something similar? Be good, Dan |

cool idea +1 for sure.
However I have attacked that a different way, I only have the "common" base info in my World almanac. My intent is, that when each story is finished (for me consider a story almanc like a module), the information will be moved to the world almanc. The idea for me, is that each story builds upon my world, and thus I work story > world, world being my historical reference, story being my current reference. |

I think the entire concept of "Story" and "World" almanacs is limiting. So, dream with me here...
Almanacs that you can create and name yourself. Any particular topic can be enabled or disabled in any particular almanac. So, create an almanac for each campaign in your world. Create a topic and use a checklist to pick which almanac(s) it shows up in. Same mechanism, mostly, but infinitely more flexible. At the very least, having topics be active in multiple almanacs and letting you choose which via a checklist would be good. |

Great minds think alike. ;)
But let's be honest, it's not like categorization is new. I just want a way to see everything; after that go nuts with Almanacs. |
