There is no way to automatically give the item to every fifth unit.
However, you can have the item assign a type to the unit and then use the
"tcon" external unit attribute to verify that the proper number of items
has been assigned to the unit. This way, the user has to manually add the
item, but AB can make sure that the user assigns the proper number. It's
not optimal, but it's still a reasonable solution.

Hope this helps,
Rob

I am having a problem with my ABCreate program. It will not load any
files. All I get is an eror message saying the file could not load
properly or the definition file could not load properly. I have tried
running the definition file, but this does not help.

any suggestions?

thanx,
NASCHAMP36

That would explain it! Thanks Rob.

Hope you guys did well at origins and gencon, you have a 1st class
product!

I am a leadhead of the first water and it makes generating legal army
lists easy and allows me to tinker with my lists to plan new minis
purchases. I recommend your product 1000%

You need to make sure that the definition file for the game system (ie
datadef.ext) is in the same folder as the data file you are attempting to
open (*.ext). The datadef file cannot be opened in ABCreator, but you
should be able to open up any other datafiles.

For example, to open any of the *.wf6 files for the Warhammer game system,
the datadef.wf6 file must be in the same directory as the *.wf6 file I am
attempting to open.

Hope this helps,
Mark

I'm afraid that's not currently possible. If you want to limit the total
cost of every unit in the army, you should probably use the method I
described above; otherwise, add a type (perhaps using an option with
'glob') to every unit of the categories you mentioned, and use that in the
attribute instead of '?'.

Ah. No, I'm afraid that's not possible. Sorry

You could do this by making one item assign a type to the unit (using the
'type' attribute on that item), and have the 'slave' items check that this
type is present using 'itst'.

>2)I have an item which is supposed to be incrimental

You need to actually add the item before the +- buttons appear; they don't
appear when you just select the item in the list.

Give that unit the external attribute "lglx:race=xx|race=yy", where xx and
yy are the two races it is legal for.

Hope this helps.

However, you can use types and "trat" to ensure that if the option is
selected on the coach, all other units also select the option. The user
will have to select the option manually for each other unit, but AB can at
least warn the user if the option isn't selected for all of the units.

Hope this helps,
Rob

Subject: full thrust data files

I am using full thurst and have downloaded the most recent updates
and with it I got all the files for B5 to use with Full Thrust. My
army builder wont reconize the new data files. How do I get army
builder to use these files?

Also I am looking for a file that lets me print out my fleet rosters
in game format. Does anyone have this file or know where I can get
it?
