What I learned at Gencon
by Pollution The meet and greet was at a bar, not a restaurant or pub. Rob is a hot sauce wimp. Mathias doesn't talk a lot (and it's Math-I-Ass, not Math-es) Liz is very short, but my wife is still shorter (you're taller than somebody Liz, OWN IT!) ChiefWeasel is not a 40 year old man, and we do not know each other (but she's got some neat-o ears). Some players want Print, not because they are Luddites, but because their players are. Always back your data up to the cloud. ALWAYS. These have been the important updates from GenCon, as witnessed by Pollution. |

Some GMs want Export/Print because not everyone uses Realm Works, no matter how non-Luddite they are otherwise. :P |

What I learned at the meetup: ShadowChemosh's last name (Shh, it's a secret!) GenCon's recent changes to exhibitor booth assignments are very unfriendly to new and smaller companies Anna Meyer is way more badass than anyone else at the table (website here: http://ghmaps.net/ ) Michigan has some very unfriendly to workers laws, and at least some employers exploit this and their employees to the maximum extent. Sucks to be poor in Michigan! People from the peninsula in Michigan are called "Yoopers" as a shorthand for Upper Peninsula or "UP". Now a return to your regularly scheduled forums! |

They had a pretty extensive food menu - vastly more than any "bar" I've been to. It's always been my understanding that makes it a "pub", but I could be wrong.
Go ahead and capitalize it. Rob is a hot sauce *WIMP*. Best translation: cat's tongue. |

Purely from the name, Loughmiller's Pub & Eatery sounds a lot like "bar/restaurant" to me.
I haven't gone to a place that serves alcohol but not food in years, but I don't drink so I don't seek such places out. |

They definitely made a good white russian though. Hey, that qualifies as food in some circles.

No persons under 21 allowed inside = Bar. Under 21 allowed = Pub. Worst part? I ate lunch there at least once a week for a year and forgot completely that it was a bar. Good times though. |

Is that an Indiana thing or a definition I haven't heard before? There's no such distinction under Minnesota law as far as I can tell.
