I’m a fan of the 2d20 as well. While the official character generators are wayyyyyyy above what i’m Familiar with, as Farling pointed out if you’ve got the Authoring Kit for HLC, then grab the STA dataset from the link in my sig and take it for a whirl. (::Announcer voice:: At no cost to you, available for an unlimited time! )

I’m always looking for comments and suggestions to improve it. PM me to take this offline if want to discuss, or pop over to the STA thread I’ve got ...

Thanks!
TC

Is the authoring kit still a thing? I seem to recall not being able to find it or any documentation at all around it. Just some ancient never updated wiki.

The wiki is about it, but as I understand it, that is almost all of it. The walkthrough is a bit outdated in places, but is functional. And Mattias answers or questions on the Authoring Kit forum.

I take it nothing "official" has been posted about this issue from the Wolf since this posting is already over a month old?

No update to PF1 in 7 months suggests they are concentrating more on PF2 and HLO.

The lack of updates for PF1 largely revolves around an issue with Apple that is moving at the speed of molasses in winter. We are doing all we can to try and work with them but are being blocked from updating the app.

May I ask what and why is blocking the app update?

The past is a rudder to guide us, not an anchor to hold us back.

I speculated in another thread that Apple is probably being greedy.

Apple doesn't like not getting a cut of in app purchases, or a cut of the app purchase. Technically this isn't in app purchases but I have heard about other apps being banned because you go to an external website to buy DLC.

Even though I use an iPad occasionally to play, if this is the reason, they should just drop the Apple app.

Well they've never supported Android as a platform, so it seems reasonable that they should remove favouritism for Apple-only devices.
