Custom Race: Adventure Dragon

Now, I've created races and classes before but this'll be my biggest undertaking yet. Is this race even possible to be built as a single race or does it have to be built as multiple races is my question?

It would not "have" to be done as multiple races. You could use either a feat chooser or an adjustment to select which color your Dragon Adventurer is.
