Hi There!
The easiest way to get portfolios onto your iPad is through Dropbox. If you don't have a Dropbox account, you can create one for free at https://www.dropbox.com/. After you have a Dropbox account set up, you can link it to your iPad via the Dropbox button on the Select Portfolio screen. Sign in, and Hero Lab will create some special folders in your Dropbox account where it will look for portfolios. On your desktop, once you have Dropbox installed, you can move your 5e .por files into Dropbox\Apps\Hero Lab\5e. There is a corresponding Dropbox\Apps\Hero Lab\pathfinder folder for Pathfinder .por files. Once your .por files are in the local Dropbox folder on your desktop they should automatically sync with your iPad over WiFi. Then you should see your portfolios when you select the 5th Edition D&D game system! Any changes you make to your portfolio should show up the next time you open the portfolio on the desktop, and vice versa. However, I wouldn't recommend using both simultaneously Hope this helps! |
