How to select him at all? Can't find him anywhere.

I had the same problem, i dont' think he's in the data file

He's there.
Some of the Mercenaries had problems gettin him to show up, but the next update will fix that.
He can only be attached to 'casters, solos and unit leaders. When you select one of these models you will see the Unit Adds tab and the Ogrun Bokur option will be available.

the only model I have seen a unit adds tab pull up for is for man o war kovnic and it says add man o war he's a solo I should be able to add ogrun to him right?

He cant be selected. No "Add Unit" option available.

I just opened up an old version and the Kovnik has the Ogrun Bokur available.
So, I'm not sure what the problem is.
I'd upgrade to 3.1 and grab the newest version.

Just checked it with Kovnik. Only MOW Troopers available as an option.
