Hiya:

I'm a new user, I just installed Hero Lab, and bought the mastermind's expansion...the software shows it in my license, but I don't seem to see any of the UP powers...

I see folks here talking about errors in Dimension Control? The whole power is not on my powers list anywhere I can see. Probability Control isn't there either. I cannot find any of the UP stuff, it all looks like basic book stuff. But the license info says it should be there.

I cannot find any data files (besides a core m&m one) on my system, and I have "reactivated" my license several times without seeing any changes to the powers list. I emailed support but the automated response says wait 2-3 business days.

Was wondering if anyone here has any ideas?

Thanks,

John

I have the d20 files, but I think there might be an analagous thing in the M and M files... When you start hero-lab, there should be a window that pops up before you can edit you character (in D20 it lets you set hero level, maybe in M and M it lets you set Power Level?). To the right of the level there is a section that shows your active settings, and a button above it with a clipboard. Try clicking on the clipboard and changing the settings so that Ultimate Power is included in the rulesets you are using.

If that doesn't show the stuff, your problem is beyond me.

Thank you. I cannot believe I missed that. That was the problem. All kinds of new stuff. FYI - for characters already created the option to change this appears to be Character -> Configure Hero...

Too bad that wasn't in the setup instructions. Thank you.

Strange - the Ultimate Power ruleset should be enabled by default, so if you've bought the expansion it should just work. Ah well, everything is resolved now
