Hello.
Our DM in pathfinder is using your program and I think its great. One feature that would realy push Hero lab to the next level doh is an update feature. As of now its a creator of characters, and can help level and do all the hard things automaticly. But why dont make it the primary asset of the playing field? What Im talking about is that I would love that instead of using the paper and pen, let the players have access to their players digitaly from the DMs version on hero Lab but on their own laptops/boards, phones etc. So in game the players can add/delete/change gear, use arrows, health, but only the GM has the "administration right" to change and level the character on his side. In this way all things wil be updated, and also skills, encumberance, altered gear wil hapend automaticly so a change on either side wil show. If Hero lab can do this, then we wil se a "new dawn" in roleplaying, where digital wil take ower for the pen and paper and even more wil be interested. Just my 5cent, but as far as iv seen the program it seems quite doable. |

I came to ask/post something similiar. It would be nice if Lone Wolf offered a "Cloud Storage" for characters.
So a PC could create his character, and the GM could just select it from the "cloud" and add it to his portfolio. So then a PC can simply update it, it would be live for the GM and if the GM adds XP or condition affects, etc, it would be live for the player. As a bonus, an option for "GM Approval" would be nice as well where PC updates do not go "live" until a GM approves it. Drop Box/Google Drive are alternatives for now, but isn't "Live". Also they require software installs and on work PC's where we are running HL from a USB drive, we can't install drop box -Jamz RPTools.net | MapTool Discord Invite Download Latest MapTool Release | Download Latest TokenTool Release |
