Not sure if this is a bug or I'm just not understanding it right.
All drones get a choice of Weapon Proficiency in Basic Melee Weapons or Small arms. Combat Drones also get Weapon Proficiency as a bonus feat as long as the pre-reqs are met. If I select Basic Melee Weapons for the general drone weapon proficiency, shouldn't I be able to select Advanced Melee Weapon Proficiency for the bonus feat? It is listed in red saying "proficiency in basic melee weapons required". I can still choose it but then I have a validation error, so wanted to know if this is a bug or if I'm doing it wrong |

I ran into the same issues just yesterday. Appears to be a bug, you should report it.

I had the same issue, seems to be a bug. Until it's fixed you can get around it by adding the proficiency as a Permanent Adjustment (on the Customize tab).
