I believe it has been removed from the book - but it is still in the file.

The Doomwheel is not in the book ... but some people like to play with it so I guess that's why it's still there!?

there is an option to allow "obsolete" units - maybe the Doom Wheel should be moved to be under this category? Right now it shows as an "allowed" unit.

The Doomwheel rules are still available from the Skaven section of the games workshop page, along with almost all the other special characters. It is an allowed unit, its just like a character/unit that's in White Dwarf, usable as long as no one complains.

most of the time people stick to "rule book only" options - I think the DW should be pushed into the "obsolete" section...

hmmm.. its not obsolete, but it is 'nonstandard'. is there a common term for that i could use to describe this and any other exceptional stuff? non-official, maybe??
