I don't know the value, I have the data to get it from, and I want Card Vault to calculate it.

I'm not sure it's something that will work though, every reference I've seen is a chart or graph.

Oh, you mean you know what the value IS, you just want to know how to add it as a statistic in the datafiles?

I'm trying to get Card Vault to output the standard deviation for destiny in a deck. I've created a CV file for the cards that have been released, and the plan is to be done and release the file shortly after the game launches.

Sorry, I don't play Decipher games anymore. Since the game hasn't even been released yet, I doubt anyone on here would be of any use. I suggest contacting Decipher, or you might be able to find the info you need at the game's official site: http://www.decipher.com/dothack/

.hack//ENEMY. I can send you the .cv if you want. I'm trying to get the "standard deviation" of destiny.

When asking for stats that should be included in a data file, I was asked for Standard Deviation. Is that a possible stat to get? It's a number we're working with, so that really helps..

I think the only way the standard deviation could be calculated would be if
it was added as a new rule/stat expression term (for example, like max:,
sum:, avg: etc are now). Are there any other games for which this value is
useful?

Any decipher game that uses destiny would find it useful, but I don't think it's that useful myself... Just asking for people who asked me.

Yeah, I know the Star Wars CCG from Decipher uses destiny, along with Young Jedi. In fact, I'm starting to think EVERY decipher game uses it...

But seriously, Warcry and Warhammer 40K use something similar to destiny, and if I understand correctly, it would be just as useful as a mana curve graph in the magic datafiles (somthing I REALLY want btw).

You can already get a mana curve graph in the magic files; just use one of
the info windows to show a composition profile, bar graph, of the 'total
cost' tag group.

I think that's close enough to work, because it works with the .hack//ENEMY files I've created.

This can be added for statistics. I'll put it on the todo list.
