I'm a starfinder player AND a pathfinder playtest player.

I'm confused by the pricing. Am I looking at 34.99 x2 every 180 days?

Or 34.99 to purchase starfinder for 180 days plus a one time 24.99 to add on pathfinder playtest?

Welcome to the boards, eighteez!

When you purchase Hero Lab and your first game system, it's 34.99. Each additional game system you then add to your license costs $24.99.

At some point, when the program is where we want it to be, we'll begin charging a hosting fee that will be about $2 a month.

And if you have questions about your account or experience any bug errors, you can report them to support@wolflair.com.

Thanks!

Does each license need renewing after 180 days?

And is this how all of the add on “books” work?

Thanks!

So, the game system is a one time purchase not a recurring charge. The only recurring charge will be the hosting fee.

What about moving our PF Classic stuff over to HLO? Will we have to purchase the PF Classic package, plus pay the "migration fee?" Or will it just be the migration fee?

Thank you!

Thats great news.

What is the hosting fee for? To house saved characters?

Thanks for the explanations. Ive used fantasy grounds before. So im sprt of familiar with some of this type of thing. For these games im looking for character creation and management only.

Right - that $14.99/$24.99 fee for 180/365 days is the web hosting fee. As Rone said, about $2/month.

So your first purchase - whichever game system you want - is a one time $35 cost. Each subsequent game system is $25.

The 6 month or yearly hosting fee is the same no matter how many game systems you've bought, whether you've only bought Starfinder or have bought Starfinder, PF2, PF Classic (hopefully, eventually), Savage Worlds, FATE, and whatever other systems they eventually support with HLO.

But you're correct, that bit could be worded more clearly in the store.

Great question! The replication fee will cover everything you own that we have replicated for Hero Lab Online, including core systems.

So if you, say, own the Pathfinder 1 core system, two bestiaries, and Ultimate Equipment and we've replicated those in Hero Lab Online, you will indeed have them in your account.
