Witch build mode not working

hey, I can't add spells to my Witch's spell list.
It says: "This spell does not match the spell list of the class selected by this spellbook."

Is this a question for PF1 or PF2? If this is PF2, then the answer is that you must add a patron before you add any spells, but if this is PF1, then you'll need to provide more information about your character for me to figure out what's going wrong - like what archetypes did you add to the witch class, are you using any optional rules, things like that.
