A month ago I posted here. Because I don't have the technical background to begin formulating the questions that I would need to ask in order to make the file I want to see I just kind of froze up. I have a fairly decent command of the English language. But it was all just too much. The irony here is that I bribed a friend of mine to try and do the job. Chris asked his first question into the group and got a response in the same digest that had responses from Rob and Colen regarding the accessibility of Army Builder Creator for non-technophiles. I really do think that Army Builder and Card Vault are fantastic programs. But I also play several games that already had existing datafiles. I am chagrined to say that I to believed that there was a far greater staff than there actually is. Don't apologize for that facet of your company. It's often useful to be thought of as being larger than you really are (especially when doing sales) and it also highlights the strength of commitment that you guys have when discovered. For the record I fall cleanly into the camp that states the documentation needs to improve. Because Chris is has stepped in this isn't an issue for me today. As long as Chris is getting answers, it will continue to not be an issue for me. But that doesn't mean that others will be as fortunate as I. Please consider improving the current documentation. One thing I thought would help me, and hoped to find online, is an article that documented the creation of a fully developed datafile in a step by step and very detailed format. I think that such an article may have provided me with enough knowledge to formulate the questions to get the file done. If you can find the time, and I know it's not likely, this may help the others like me out a great deal. Given that there are over 1000 people that are members of this group, and given that the best Warhammer group that I know of only has twice that number, I suspect that there are a fair number of people in the same boat. Until next time. the_just_jeff Jeff Hogg __________________________________________________ ______________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ Your use of Yahoo!
