I have a realm that I want to clone so that I can reuse the world, but clean out un-needed topics. In effect, I want to have to realms, set in the same world, but localized around different area.

I am not sure if this is something that i have to wait until the Content Market arrives or not.

Any ideas??

Thanks Jerry

That is an expected feature of the Content Market.

And the answer to that is .. .. .. SOON!

I really like Realm Works, and as a programmer myself I understand how difficult getting things right is, but it seems that "Content Market coming Soon!" has been coming soon for a very long time. :-(

In addition, will there be a way to move information from World Almanac to Mechanics Reference? I mad the mistake of creating a group for encounters in the World Almanac, and now realize that it should have been in Mechanics Reference.

That you're probably going to have to do by hand. Copying inside a realm is pretty easy as you can do it from one tab to another.

You can already move material from World to Mechanics by changing the category from the gear in the upper right of the topic.

But you have to move ALL the topics of that category and the category between the two, not just copy individual topics between the two.

Obviously I'm missing something, but I don't see how to do what you are saying. Are talking about "Change Topic to a different Category .. .." under Topic Category? If so, I still don't see anything about Mechanic References in the list. :-(

You have to move the entire Category (Manage/Categories, F7, Move To/Mechanics Article Categories), which takes all of its Topics along for the ride.

If you don't want to move everything: duplicate the existing category, move the Topics you want to the new one, move that one to an Article, move the (now) Articles to the Category you want them in, and delete the duplicate if it's empty.
