Nice job. I am adding this to my own house rules file for sure unless it goes official. I tested it out with Power Attack, Weapon Finesse, and Fighter levels. All was calculating correctly.
I added the logic so that the chosen weapon's livename gets "FoB +/+/+". So if no adjustment then Unarmed Strike is used else the livename of the weapon chosen is used instead. So one can easily print the correct values on a sheet then and have easy reference to them. Attached to this thread is the new version for you to look at risner. Yea if nothing else this will make a great community add-on. The eventual solution for flurry of blows will be new lines on the display for the flurry attacks, added to the existing lines for melee and ranged attacks, but I haven't had time to implement that yet. So thank you for offering it for the program, but I'm going to hold off until I can get it properly implemented.

Hello Gents/Ladies/Code Monkeys,
I was just looking for a solution to the monk flurry of blows problem. Figuring out all the correct values for a multi-class monk and having on a character sheet was the reason I bought hero lab for pathfinder. Hopefully this patch/thingo will make it all sweet. I'll let you know how I go. Thanks for your work! -Stragen |

Hi Again,
I tried to use this data file. This is what I figured out so far. Open Hero Lab, and load monk character. Open the editor. Open the data file in the editor. Press Test Now. I get the following error message "Hero Lab was forced to stop compilation with the following errors were detected. file: mfob.user (line 304) - Thing invalid unique id" Any suggestions/instructions on how I should install this file? Much Thanks, Stragen |

There isn't a line 304.
I'm not sure how to help. Don't try test. Just while in the editor hit ctrl-c and recompile the whole data set. Last edited by risner; February 22nd, 2011 at 05:11 AM. |

1) First make sure you downloaded the latest version from d20pfsrd. Located HERE in the zMisc folder and is called PFRPG_Monk_FoB.user 2) Make sure HL is NOT started. Drop the .user file into your HeroLab\Data\Pathfinder folder. 3) Start HL and go into pathfinder. 4) Open or create a new monk. My guess is that your trying to open the .user file using the editor from outside the data folder. Just follow the above steps and all should be good. Also make sure you remove the mfob.user file if you do actually have it in the data folder. Hi ShadowChemosh,
Thanks for your help. I followed the steps that you listed above. Downloaded the file PFRPG_Monk_FoB.user Dropped it into HeroLab\Data\Pathfinder\ Started Hero Lab I get the following error: Syntax Error in 'eval' script for Thing 'cMnkFlur' (Eval Script '#5') on line 37 -> Non-existent thing 'fPiranStr' referenced by script Any ideas? Sincerely, Stragen |

I tried removing the file PFRPG_Monk_FoB.user from the \HeroLab\Data\Pathfinder\ directory and the error goes away.
