Lord of the Rings

Just so everyone knows there is a new Lord of the Rings Update
posted. Return of the King release is reflected there and most all
of the current promotional cards are listed. Site paths to the
pictures located at Decipher.com are also included in all the
releases except for ROTK - they're not all posted on site yet - or
the Fellowship beta reprints - - best I can tell those have never
been posted on their website.

As always - back up your files first.

There are going to be typos since I only have about 2/3 - 3/4 of the
cards on hand to verify with. Let me know if there are any major
problems. Hope it works for you.

I have added bmp's for the cultures. Looks ok. . . might could look
better. Have also ital'd the lore and bolded any text that is bolded
on the cards themselves. (that is for when looking at the 'card
details'. I 'might' be using bmp's for the burdens too. I haven't
decided yet.

I'm currently working on new filters for 'initiative' and 'threats'
and tweaking the 'rules' for deck creation.

As always send your corrections - I'll get on em right away. Next
Release will be maintenance release after pics have been released
for the whole set of ROTK - prob mid december.

It's an incredibly tedious process to collect all of the pix - can anyone
advise on the correct, quick way to grab the pictures please?

Moving from card to card and clicking in each picture box is a pita,
especially if *every* CV user has to do the same thing...

We will be releasing a tool in the future to download all the images for a
game system / specific editions of a game system. It'll probably be
released along with CV1.3a.

As I said, when 1.3a comes out. The release date of v1.3a is yet to be
determined, and will be based on a number of factors such as when we've
fixed all the bugs we need to fix, when we're pretty sure we haven't added
any other bugs, the phase of the moon, and so on.

I'd really like to be able to tell you when the release date will be; as
someone who plays computer games, nothing irritates me more than not
knowing when a game will be out other than "1st quarter 2004", "summer
2005" etc. However, I have no idea when 1.3a will actually be out. Sorry. :/
