Hi. If this is still an issue, can you send me an e-mail and include information on what custom/user created content you had that seems to have vanished?

I am assuming that when you load HL you get an error message, most likely about a Duplicate Thing Error, if this is the case HL has gone into safe mode and won't show your .user content. It is still there in HL it just won't load it. If you open the editor you can open your stuff up. So you didn't lose it for good.

To get it back you have to fix the error. For that you can right click on the error window and do "Copy" and then paste it in a post. With that we maybe able to help you figure out what is wrong.

Purchased the ARG update, the new races/versions are all there... but the Racial Heritage feat does not include the ARG races .

Just purchased the Advanced Race Guide package and I'm quite happy with it except for one thing. Is there a way to save a custom built race for later use?

From a GM standpoint, having to redo the race for every npc can become cumbersome and I want to open up the race for PC use down the road.

I'm hoping I just missed this function somewhere. If not, is there a work around?

I think the answer is not currently but save your custom race in a Master Portfolio file without any other info attached, E.G. classes, Skills, ETC.

Then you can load up your new race(s) whenever and assign the relevant information at character creation. As long as you remember to save with a different file name then the race itself would be available without recreating it from scratch.

Thank you. That will work out nicely. I was so focused on trying to find a dedicated function I completely blanked on anything else.
