If you hadn't already noticed, there was a small update made to Realm Works today. Its primary purpose was to fix a few of the bugs causing users to have crashing issues.

Happy gaming!

It was exciting to see the yellow update button again! Please don’t drop this product.

Not to worry! We have no intention of dropping Realm Works from our product line. We love it too and hope users will be enjoying it for many years to come.

I noticed that the update installed into the (x86) folder - just confirming that this is still the 64 bit version. Isn't the (x86) folder normally for 32 bit programs?

RW is installed in the x86 folder so that's where the updates go as well. The reason its installed there is likely because it started as a 32bit program and shifting the default installation location could cause problems.

To be clear - they're not dropping it from their product line. They are just not developing it any further than they have already. Which is disappointing to me on a number of levels, but it's still a great product even in it's current form.

I do wish they'd gotten 'round to doing the calendars, though

My reading says they may come back to RW when they have time and resources. Yes, they have stopped work now, because they just don't have that "currently".

Current RPG's: Pathfinder (GM), Pathfinder (Player), Gamma World (GM, Pathfinder homebrew).
HeroLab: 3.5 & Pathfinder. HL User Files for PF: Greyhawk Setting, Gamma World (WIP).

DM and player of D&D since 1980.
