As I enter stuff I would find a quick key for making a new Snippet Below the one I am on, very useful.
The Default could be TXT or what ever the Snippet I am on is. When I am copying a fair amount of data, the switch to select new snippet, below, TXT, is a bit much. A CTRL combo or even a F Key would work great. |

BOOM!
Your wish has been granted. CTRL-ENTER will create a new snippet below below the one you're currently editing. If there's text after where the cursor is when you hit ctrl-enter, the following text will be put into said snippet. I copy/paste paragraphs of data, and then use ctrl-enter to create multiple snippets. Magic. Actually <ctrl-Enter> *splits* the current snippet into two. So that keystroke works at the *end* of the snippet, but it will have different behavior anywhere else within the snippet.
If you want to add a new snippet below the current one, use <ctrl-N> to display the menu of all snippet types for selection. Or you can use <ctrl-T> to add a new Text snippet (hence the "T"). Hope this helps! |
