Just checking in... is there any movement forward on L5R Card images? If not, how can i manually map card images which i have on my own HD to Cardvault? Thanks! Due to various legal issues and concerns, getting access to all the L5R
card images officially through AEG is still not resolved. However, we can always utilize the images at l5rsearch.com (or another site) as an alternative. The key problem with this approach is that the images at l5rsearch are simply numbered, without any discernable system used for generating the number for a given card. This means that using the l5rsearch images would be a royal pain in the butt to manually hook up - i.e. days of tedious, error-prone work. So we're still hoping things can be sorted out with AEG. Or maybe someone has all of the images in a collection that won't require manually hooking up all the cards to numbered image files. <wink> <nudge> There is currently no way to hook up card images to CV data files. We've had that question asked of us a lot recently, so it's something we've made a high priority for the next feature release of CV. But there's no way to do it at the moment. That being said, if you've got all the images, perhaps you could help us out with getting something made available for download via the data files. :-) Thanks, Rob At 07:51 PM 7/22/2004 +0000, you wrote: >Hi Rob, > >Just checking in... is there any movement forward on L5R Card >images? What next? What format do they need to be in? How should they be named? What structure do i need for the folders? (I'm assuming just a separate folder per expansion set...) How can I get them to be seen by Cardvault? Do I need to publish them on a website or what?
